NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEE ELECTIONS NOW OPEN
VOTE TODAY!
Ballots to elect Neighborhood Committees for every Windermere Neighborhood have been sent to every property owner, with voting available through May 30. Owners are encouraged to review their ballots and vote today!
Neighborhood Committee elections are held per Section 3.4 of Windermere Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs), as well as Section 5.2 of Windermere By-laws. Neighborhood Committee members are elected to a one-year term (June 1-May 31).
Neighborhood Committees represent the interests of Owners in each Windermere neighborhood and elect a chair who serves as the Voting Member for all CCR and By-law amendments. Voting Members also elect members of the HOA Board of Directors. More details, including candidate biographies and a Neighborhood Committee fact sheet, can be found at the links below.
The Owner(s) of each Windermere property may cast ONE ballot with votes for not more than THREE candidates. Ballots with more than three votes will not be counted. If multiple ballots are received from a single property only the first shall be counted. You may vote for listed candidates or cast a write-in vote. The three candidates receiving the most votes will be elected. One property = one vote.
Ballots must be received by May 30 from at least one-third of properties in your neighborhood in order to have a valid election and establish your Neighborhood Committee. PLEASE CAST YOUR BALLOT TODAY to assure YOUR neighborhood is represented as important changes to Windermere By-laws and Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CCRs) are considered. Your signed ballot can be returned via U.S. Postal Service or scanned and emailed, per the instructions on the ballot.
