Windermere HOA’s Board of Directors recently clarified dusk to dawn yard lamp requirements, changing the single bulb design previously designated in Heritage Green to the 3-bulb candelabra design. This standardizes and simplifies ordering and purchase for residents in the Crosswinds, Glenn Abbey Place, Heritage Green, Lakeside Green, and Woods Edge neighborhoods. Homes with previously installed single bulb lamps in any of these neighborhoods will be considered in compliance with yard lamp specifications, as long as the fixture is correct (Hanover Lighting model B4131).
There is no change to yard lamp requirements for other neighborhoods. Those specifications include:
• Woodlands and Windermere Pointe: Hanover B5531 with 4-bulb candelabra and beveled glass.
• Windermere Villas: Maxim Westlake 1005BK (black)
• Glenn Abbey Village: Maxim Westlake 1005WT (white)

The following vendors are confirmed to offer Hanover Lantern yard lamps meeting WHOA specifications, with delivery currently ranging from two to six weeks (subject to change):

All Windermere homes must have an operating dusk to dawn yard lamp per Hamilton County plat requirements established when our neighborhood was approved for development (which also allowed the neighborhood to be built without streetlights, reducing bothersome light intrusion). This requirement is also included in the HOA Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions we all agree to when purchasing a home in Windermere.
