Parkway Trees – “Leaf” Room for Clearance!

With summer in full swing, please help all neighbors enjoy their walks by trimming street trees and landscaping to assure your sidewalks are clear of obstruction.

Tree branches should be trimmed to a minimum 7’ clearance above the sidewalk. Ground level landscaping should not cross into the sidewalk in any way (even better if there’s 6” of clearance around the sidewalk’s edge).

You’ll reduce risk of damage from vehicle traffic by trimming the street side of trees for 8’ of clearance.

Parkway trees provide beauty and value to your home and our neighborhood.  Please make sure they’re trimmed to assure easy clearance and eliminate risk of injury.

Thanks for your help!!

Independence Day Fireworks

As individuals, neighbors and citizens we treasure celebrating Independence Day on July 4.  As you celebrate, please remember to respect your neighbors, their property, and the community within and around our Windermere neighborhoods.

The City of Fishers has clear requirements surrounding the use of fireworks, restricting their use around Independence Day to June 29 through July 9.  Use of fireworks outside of these dates may result in criminal enforcement.

From June 29 through July 9, fireworks use is limited to:

  • 10:00 a.m. through midnight on July 4; and
  • 5:00 p.m. through two hours past sunset on all other days.

In addition to these restrictions, please note firing of fireworks from the private Ironwood golf course is not allowed, and those doing so may be subject to trespassing enforcement.

Please be considerate and show respect for your neighbors, their children, and pets.  Protect your property and that of others from fireworks damage and debris by maintaining sufficient water supply to address fire risk.  Do not aim fireworks at the property of others.

Tennis Club Memberships

Windermere tennis courts – including those lined to support pickleball this past spring – are as popular as ever.  To help protect courts from damage and assure residents have appropriate access, a gate code is required for entry.

If you haven’t already, you can obtain your gate code by joining the Windermere Tennis Club at zero cost.  Just go to the HOA web site and click on Memberships to complete the online application.  Once your residence and HOA account status are verified (please allow a few business days), the access instructions will be available on your account Dashboard.
