One unique feature of Windermere is the Parkway Trees originally installed by the developer. Trees provide many benefits including cleaning our air, providing shade, reducing road noise and marking the seasons.
Each home in the Windermere Community is required to have and maintain at least 2 Parkway Trees (outside corner lots require 4 Parkway Trees). These are the trees located between the sidewalk in front of your home and the edge of the street. The Parkway Trees should be evenly spaced giving a balanced appearance to the overall street view.
